Other Son hails from Colorado Springs, CO. Formed in the beginning of 2018, the group spawned as a passion project between the two co-founders and best friends, Ian Hayes (Guitar) and Bretterson Morgan (Vocals). Morgan and Hayes finished writing for their debut album in February of 2018, recorded in May of 2018, and released "The Darkness In Devotion" on December 21, 2018. Not far into 2019, the two recruited Brandon Grimes (Drums), Chase Hunt (Bass), and Caleb Bodell (Guitar). The three new additions were new to Other Son, but not to each other. Grimes, Hunt, and Caleb all came from another band together, making the transition into a new band feel very comfortable and natural for all parties. The group is now equipped to hit the streets and make an impact on the Colorado rock scene. Other Son will begin booking live performances in the summer of 2019, in Colorado and the surrounding area. Additional plans for Other Son include recording and releasing a new single, printing physical merchandise, and meeting as many new people as possible.
